It is important for all firefighters to set up their account
with the Wildland Fire Learning Portal.
Many classes require emailed proof of passing the
Online Training Component before you attend the
Instructor Led Training.
S 112 Introduction to Chainsaw Operations requires this.
Getting an Account is simple.
Applying for your account:
Use your email. Add your name as you want it on
completion certificates.
Info asked for may include:
"Unit" = is your employer.
"Agency"= Private.
"Location "= Northwest.
It may take a day for account approval.
Logging in may include a 2 step verification.
After login:
FINDING CLASSES:
click "Find Learning"
click "Course Catalog"
choose "Catagories: NWCG"
"S" (suppression) classes start on page 5.
